This fix is available for all new installations and for older ones if you choose Install Apple Mail Plug-In from the SpamSieve menu. Worked around an AppleScript bug in Apple Mail on macOS 10.15 that could result in messages trained as good being moved to the inbox of an account that’s disabled, making it look like the messages disappeared. The latest information about Catalina is available here. SpamSieve 2.9.38 (and also 2.9.37) are compatible with macOS 10.15, however a small number of customers are seeing issues with the Catalina version of Apple Mail. This is a free update that includes the following changes: It does not need access to your mail account login and does not transmit your mail data anywhere. SpamSieve running on your Mac can keep the spam off your iPhone/iPad, and you can even train SpamSieve from your iOS device. SpamSieve gives you back your inbox, using Bayesian spam filtering to provide amazing accuracy that’s constantly improving. Save time by adding powerful spam filtering to the e-mail client on your Mac. Version 2.9.38 of SpamSieve is now available. The bottom line is that if the drone scripts seem not to work for you, there is a chance that there is an issue with your box rather than with spamsieve and the drone scripts. The following was posted on the SpamSieve blog: I have been tempted to reinstall the dual G5 machine completely to see if this fixes the problem, but simply haven’t had the time. Same compiled scripts, no changes from the G5 box. I moved everything over to a mostly unused first-gen mini that was sitting around, and all works flawlessly. The scripts in the “drone” publication also fail to work correctly on my dual G5 machine. A force-quit and restart of mail.app fixes everything until the next time it fails, again without any notice.Īnecdotally, I have a at least one friend who has had similar issues with mail.app on his dual G5 machine. Unfortunately, the only way you can tell that mail.app has failed is to check things by hand. Alas, a simple check using another box or web interface proves this to be incorrect. I have noticed an issue with mail.app on the G5 box where mail.app crashes gracelessly – that is to say, when you ask it to check for new mail (either automagically or explicitly using the dropdown menu for same) mail.app will tell you blithely that there’s nothing new waiting to come down. For the record, there were problems before spamsieve, and unsurprisingly, they didn’t go away while I was playing with spamsieve. I have noticed problems with mail.app on my dual G5 2.3 box. Mail.app (IMAP) on a dual G5 drone problems and a brute-force fix I suspect that something could be cobbled together using a variation of the “drone” approach to make this process cleaner. While this approach lacks elegance, it gets the job done and serves to provide me with a usable inbox on those occasions when I don’t have access to any of my own machines and have to use the web interface to check my mail. When I’m scanning through the IMAP spam folders and find something which has been misclassified as spam I flag it and then tell SpamSieve that it is good next time I’m using the guilty machine so it doesn’t do it again. What matters for me is training the specific machine which occasionally marks something good as spam. Someday when it is possible to merge the corpuses (corpii?) I’ll do it, but in the interim it doesn’t really matter. When I look at my IMAP folders, I see something like this:įor purposes of training SpamSieve that a given piece of spam has leaked through to my inbox, I don’t really care which machine gets the lesson. I got around the question of “how do you know which machine and filterset marked a given piece of mail as spam so you can train it” by telling each of the machines to put spam in a dedicated folder on the server. The third is my notebook, which is running only part of the time. One faces the intarweb and routes my household, and the other is a “communal” box in our living area. Two of the machines are almost always running. I have been running SpamSieve on three different boxes for several months with good results, and without using the “ drone” approach (which incidentally looks interesting.) These trades are "taking" volume, or liquidity, off of the order book, and are therefore called the "taker." Trades from Market Orders are typically takers, as Market orders rarely go on the order book, except in cases where a large order cannot be filled immediately, and instead, are executed immediately. Taker trades are when you place an order that trades immediately, by filling partially or fully, before going on the order book. Note: It is possible for a Limit GTC order (accessible via the API) to have traded as the taker and maker. These orders add volume to the order book, helping to "make the market," and are therefore termed the "maker" for any subsequent trades. In instances where an order fills partially, the portion of an order that fills immediately is subject to a taker fee, while the portion of an order that makes it onto the order book will be subject to a maker fee. When you place an order that goes on the order book partially or fully (typically, in the context of Limit Orders and Stop-Limit orders placed via the trading screen that are set at a price that is not immediately filled), any subsequent trades coming from that order will be as a “maker" as the order will stay on the order book rather than being executed immediately. We'll just have to see how things unravel at The Game Awards 2022 later this week. In situations like these, it's very important to curb one's expectations since nothing is confirmed at the moment. An active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership and supported game in a supported region. Tekken 8 is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Considering the way that Bandai Namco is hyping up the presence of Tekken 8 at The Game Awards 2022, the release of a surprise beta would be worthy of the hype. Jin Kazama's mother, who seemingly died way back in Tekken 2, will return in Tekken 8 as a playable character, tonight's Game Awards trailer revealed. However, one of the most interesting announcements is that Arika of Street Fighter EX and Fighting EX Layer fame will help with the development. The actions incredible, and so are the graphics. Still, this could just be a placeholder that indicates that something even bigger is coming. Tekken 8 is an astonishing fighting game if the closed network test is anything to go by. The file seen in the video doesn't even take up a single gigabyte of memory.Įven the file size of something like Marvel vs. For context, 25 GB of space was needed to play the Street Fighter 6 beta across all platforms. Of course, this is clearly too small to be a next generation fighting game or even a beta. This could explain why it was apparently briefly possible to install something related to Tekken 8 from the Microsoft store. The idea being suggested here is that Bandai Namco could be prepping for an announcement of some sort of demo or beta build for Tekken 8. One of the advantages of shopping online with us is your ability to preorder games before theyre available for sale on the store shelves. As seen in Moonsault Slayer's video, it would appear that something related to Tekken 8 has been partially installed on this user's Xbox Series X|S. Most industry types agree that 24-bit/48kHz is the threshold for high-resolution audio, and those streamers that support it deliver high-res streams all the way up to 24-bit/192kHz.īut Spotify never said anything about high-resolution audio in its initial Spotify HiFi announcement all it promised was “CD-quality” audio, which qualifies as “hi-fi” but not “hi-res.”Īs for the “Spotify Platinum” rumors, the purported survey makes mention of a “Studio Sound” feature in addition to HiFi. Plenty of Spotify’s streaming music rivals, including Amazon Music Unlimited, Apple Music, Qobuz, and Tidal, offer “high-resolution” music streaming–that is, audio that’s encoded at a higher resolution and sampling rate than CD-quality 16-bit/44.1kHz audio tracks. (Apple was completely new to lossless and spatial audio streaming, while Amazon had previously been charging extra for lossless and spatial tracks.)įollowing the Amazon and Apple announcements, the prospect of paying extra (most likely) for only CD-quality music and (probably) no spatial audio began to lose its luster, so perhaps Spotify chose to retreat and regroup. Just three months after the Spotify HiFi announcement, Amazon and Apple both announced (separately, but on the same day) that they would begin offering lossless, high-resolution, and spatial audio music tracks, all for no extra charge. There is another reason that Spotify might have delayed Spotify HiFi: because it got caught flat-footed by Apple and Amazon, a development that Spotify’s Söderström referred to (“the industry changed”) earlier. “So I can’t really announce any specifics on this other than to say that we’re in constant dialogue with our partners to bring this to market.” “Many of the features that we talk about and especially that’s related to music ends up into licensing,” Ek told investors. Here’s the exact quote, as reported by TechCrunch: Back in February 2022, Spotify CEO Daniel Ed blamed “licensing” issues when asked about the fate of Spotify HiFi during a company earnings call. Previously, a “HiFi” icon was spotted in the Spotify app back in May 2021 and a leaked “Hi, HiFi” video that made the rounds a few months later. Well, those 30 days came and went without any sign of Spotify Platinum actually appearing. The Redditor said the survey asked if they would switch back to Spotify “in the nest 30 days” for “one of features.” According to an October 2022 post on Reddit, a longtime Spotify user who had recently switched to Apple Music claimed they got a survey detailed a new plan–“Spotify Platinum”–that boasts HiFi, as well as other features such as “Studio Sound,” a “Headphone Tuner,” “Audio Insights,” “Library Pro,” “Playlist Pro,” and “limited-ad” podcasts, all for an extra charge (more on that in a moment). There have been other hints about Spotify HiFi’s arrival. Spotify again failed to mention Spotify HiFi during its Q2 2023 earnings report on July 25, although it did raise Premium prices the previous day. Later, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek dodged a question about Spotify HiFi during the streamer’s third-quarter 2022 earnings call in October 2022, while the feature went entirely unmentioned during Spotify’s most recent “Stream On” event in March 2023. We reached out to Spotify shortly after that announcement, but a rep would only say that the company did “not have anything further to share on HiFi beyond the excitement for the future launch.” We will of course update you here when we can. But we don’t have timing details to share yet. We feel the same, and we’re excited to deliver a Spotify HiFi experience to Premium users in the future. We know that HiFi quality audio is important to you. Söderström didn’t offer a timeline for when Spotify HiFi might finally arrive, beyond a vague “at some point.”Įarly last year, the company offered a vaguely worded statement that offered scant details about Spotify HiFi’s fate: Speaking with The Verge in March, Spotify co-president Gustav Söderström said that the company is “still going to do” Spotify HiFi, but that “we’re going to do it in a way where it makes sense for us and for our listeners,” adding that “the industry changed and we had to adapt.” We’ll discuss exactly how the industry changed in a moment. Spotify has yet to confirm the Bloomberg report, but Spotify execs have previously insisted that Spotify HiFi is still coming. The new tier, which Spotify is calling “Supremium” behind closed doors, would become Spotify’s priciest plan, and it could arrive later this year, albeit in “non-U.S. The short answer is that we don’t know when Spotify HiFi will arrive, but there are hints that it may arrive later in 2023.Īccording to a June 2023 report from Bloomberg, Spotify is prepping a new and pricier tier that will “likely” including Spotify HiFi, along with “expanded” access to audiobooks. The Answer is so bad I would actually count that as a negative toward FES. Losing the anime scenes hurts but P3 doesn’t have THAT many, and as you mentioned, you’ve already seen the movies. Other than that, adjusting to the visual novel style isn’t that hard. FeMC replaces almost all of the duds with the other male members of SEES, and she can still have SLs with the female members! Male Protagonist can only have a Social Link with his female teammates, and has a lot of duds. Not to mention, the social links are much more interesting with FeMC. (Especially if you’re doing the requests). Aside from controllable party members you also get team up moves (that are fairly primitive) and Skill Cards, which are useful for Persona creation. The gameplay is miles better, as there are a lot of quality of life improvements from later games. Given that you already watched the movies, I would recommend Portable with the female protagonist. Watch "The Answer" on Youtube after beating the base game.Īs others have said, unless Atlus announces a definitive remake in the next couple of months, there are pros and cons to both. I agree that the pros outweigh all of the cons - it's the superior version. The music, the FeMC, the controllable party members, and the overhaul of features from P4 make it the best version to play. P3P is one of my favorite games of all time, but I had an extremely difficult time getting into P3FES before that. Tartarus is still fully explorable in 3D which I think is the most important thing to maintain between versions. The VN style of moving around the map is easily navigable and doesn't detract from the overall quality. The cutscenes are fine, all you lose out on are the low-res models that P3FES uses which hardly add anything to the story. Now the downsides are definitely there, but they are honestly negligible. If you play on an emulator, you can use speedup which really helps the slower parts of the game like Tartarus.Lots of the FeMC music is better in my honest opinion, especially if you like the pop style of P4's OST.Every party member has their own social link and events (in FeMC story), just like P4 and P5.You can control your party members which is hugely impactful on gameplay. You get the following benefits from playing P3P: Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles (Rhapsody 2+3) NameĪtelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg Please check our Upcoming Releases Wiki Page as well (and help add info if you would like). Overcoming odds I have spent an amusing amount of time running sims to see what skills and teammates are needed for Grima to survive speedy Falchions even though in practice, I never put him in that situation. Thanks for ruining my edgelord jokes, IS!! I should’ve made this joke a week ago This is what happens because comics take too long to do! The original one-liner comment I had in mind was “But there’s no wholesome interpretation for Skill Inheritance,” BUT NOW THERE IS GUESS. Merge progress The number of merges I currently have is: not enough. The second disappointment is that all eye horror Grima fanart is double fanon since Grima doesn’t transform at all! Summoning yourself? Boring!įighter skills banner… Every orb is cursed, but green especially.īarracks upkeep I have enough Faes now to +10 if I wanted, but it seemed impolite to merge her higher than Grima. Summoner Support Everyone is invited to our spring wedding, but you will probably be eaten?Įxpectation vs confusing reality My first disappointment is that manakete have “poof! it’s magic”-style transformations instead of terrible body horror werewolf-style transformations. What new banner! There’s no new banner! Hmmm.ĭon’t tell Sharena In case anyone was wondering how rolling for F!Grima went. Grima in the permanent pool be like… No Morgans yet, but I haven’t been trying very hard… I’ve definitely been way too trigger happy with orbs though because there’s rarely more than one green anyway… Who dies first? Please, Auto Battle, you’re killing us… Last Day Rolls Bad news, Robin, I’m gonna roll on every single green orb from now until Grima is 5+10. Priorities Running cards on crappy reception was way easier than trying to get Gauntlet matches in since less data needs to send, but I managed both. The thrilling conclusion 171 orbs later!!!! +atk -def Grima is home!! Not pictured: about fifteen Ninos.Īnother dumb comic about not pulling Grima to distract myself from not pulling Grima. Wrong Dragon Plot twist, it’s not ten Fredericks. The army rebels Chill out guys, chances are I’m gonna end up with another ten Fredericks. (He also had an amazing unit class and stat spread for the game at the time…) Thus these comics follow my descent into madness before I eventually burned out and had to stop playing, lol.Ī Fake FE I only started playing FEH to troll a friend, but joke’s on me, I sank like 10x more hours into the game than they did. It’s a long story, but I’m very obsessive. I’ve not played any prior or subsequent FE game, but came into the franchise with random knowledge of FE: Awakening and a particular fondness for that game’s monster villain, Grima. These were originally posted to /r/FireEmblemHeroes and the community’s kind reception encouraged me to draw a lot more than I planned on.
